2階の東西の角、対角線上に計画された開口が特徴的な住宅。西日をカットしつつ視線の通るカーテンを考えた。
住宅がせせこましく立ち並ぶ地域にありながら、2階に昇ればすっと空間が広がる。この抜け感がカーテンを閉めた状態でも保たれる様に、カーテンの上部だけ透過性のある生地に切り替えた。
On the first floor, at the two corners in east and west, there are windows that give an unexpected view however the building is in the middle of the housing area.
On the other hand, curtains were demanded the privacy and function for blocking strong daylight from the west.
To keep the openness in the space, we designed the simple curtains with windows in the upper part.
