三軒茶屋のクロワッサン専門店と建築設計事務所を兼ねたユニークな物件。店内イートインスペースと設計事務所の境目にカーテンをデザインした。
店内右手にクロワッサン工房が開口越しに見え、さらに奥へ進むと左手は設計事務所となっている。
工房側開口つきの壁面を鏡に映すように、カーテンにも開口を設けることで3種類の空間に連続性を持たせた。工房、イートイン、事務所が視覚的に関係をもち、それぞれがの空間の特性が認知出来るところが面白い。
更に奥の個室は模型作業室で、窓からは近隣の気配が感じられる。外との繋がりを保ちつつ作業に没入出来る空間となるよう、透明・不透明をどう切り替えるか検討を重ねた。
It is a unique space that contains croissant bakery, café + gallery, and an architect’s office. We designed curtains to divide those.
When you enter the space, you will see the bakery through the window on a wall on the right side, and on the left, there is a space for the architect’s office
The curtain elevation is a reflection of one of the walls with the window on the other side and visually connects each space.
